Week 3: "C" is for Chi Cha Lounge

First of all, a shout out to our super cute server! Shoulda gotten her picture too...

Second, we had a few extras tonight! Rob and Rana (two old roommates) tagged along this week. It was so good to see them :)

They had $3 draft beers (except for Guinness), $4 well drinks, and $4 Sangria. The Sangria was awesome!!! Before that, though, I got a few Passion Fruit Mojitos. Mmmm.... And Cam just got gin and tonic.

The Chi Cha Lounge is a hookah bar, but we didn't try any of it. Have you tried hookah?

Sooo next week is the letter D! If you're interested, join us at Dickson Wine Bar. It's at 9th and U, and our sever recommended it! It is an organic wine bar, and it apparently has amazing food. We shall see.

Next Thursday, around 7:00 p.m. Keep on drinkin', folks. Should that be my sign off?

Week 2: "B" is for Blue Duck Tavern

Blue Duck Tavern! It was really fancy, and I had no idea. :) It was worth it though! We had the next day off work.

Ultimately, the drinks were expensive ($10+), the food was expensive, and the waiters looked super snazzy. Luckily I wore my new sports coat!

Cam and I were alone again this week; hopefully before we hit "Z", we'll have a few more comrades!

First I had a Peach martini (or something similar), followed by two strawberry drinks [see below]. There was a girl across from us who had a strawberry on the side of her glass, so I pointed at her drink and said "That's what I want!" Please, of course.

Cam got some hard liquor, on the rocks, followed by more hard liquor on the rocks. He's a man like that.

Unfortunately the big fancy glass front window, which had BLUE DUCK TAVERN etched on it, was hard to shoot at night, with an iPhone. You will just have to check it out for yourself.

Week 1: "A" is for Adams Mill Bar and Grill

Adams Mill Bar and Grill, in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington DC.

Due to a customer's request, the Orioles were on the televisions. "Jesse's Girl" came on the loud speaker, and we all (and by "all", I mean just me) starting jamming because that's all of our favorite song.

On the wall, there's a collection of framed, autographed photos of celebrities. The one of Tiger Woods said "Dear ___, I should have listened to you! For shizzle, Tiger Woods". There's also a photo of Montel Williams and one of Chad Michael Murray wearing what looks like a fur collar.

Cam got a $4 house ale, and I got a rum & Coke.

There's a nice outdoor area, a fun inside environment, and friendly staff.
